My case is approved and received card a week ago but my wife's case is transfered to National Benefit Center today.

What happens at NBC and what are the possible reasons to tranfer her case to NBC?

My 485 RD was Nov 2006. I was told that my name check was cleared when I spoke to IO in Dec 2007. But not sure when exactly it's cleared.

Can anybody tell me what happens to Derivative's case if it's transfered to National Benefit Center after Primary's case was approved.

We had the same experience. After my case was approved, my wife's case was transfered to National Benefit Center. Transfer to National Benefit Center usually means that an interview is coming.
