Hi,
I got a mail from USCIS today morning regarding the approval of my wife's case. Her RD was Aug-2002. My case was approved in June, but since she rescheduled her 2nd FP, caused 5 months delay.

By how many months did you postpone your wife's FP2? How much was the gap between your FP2 and wife's FP2?
 
I have postponed by wife's FP by 2 and 1/2 month. What do you think the delay will be for her case?

Her 2nd FP was scheduled for 6th May'2004. She was not in this country at that time. So I sent a letter to INS asking them to reschedule it after 29th June'2004. After that we got another FP notice rescheduled for 24th Jul-2004.

Same here, my wife is out of the country and I sent them letter to reschedule it after Jan05. They sent it back with original FP asking to reschedule once she comes back. It's Detroit USCIS. They won't schedule it beyond 40 days in future. I am planning to take my wife there when she comes back.
