Anybody has any clue, what did I do wrong? :(

Congratulations to Vault!

To sam012007:

I guess you may mean that someone with the case from Apr 22, 2002 is getting approved before your's from Apr 20?

-- Relax! My date is even earlier than yours: Apr 18 but we have to be happy for this sign that THEY at least work on some April guys. :)

Read my signature and find out why I said "What did I do wrong". Compare the dates of RFE that I responded and other people responded who are getting approved before me, its just frustrating to sit back and see all the approvals, when you know you should be one of them.

====================================================

Sam, I think the following could have triggered my approval.. Me and my spouse filed for our 3rd EAD and AP's at the same time. AP's were approved for both of US. My spouse got her EAD approved, and my EAD was not. So in 05/10, I called the "not so wonderful" call center, and initiated an enquiry. I was told that I woould hear something from VSC in 4 weeks. 4 weeks passed, I heard nada, zilch, zip, zero.

I called one more time on the 06/16, and initiated another enquiry. The person advised me, that I could go and get an EAD. I said that I will have to take a day off from work, since it will take me all day to get an interim EAD, and asked him why as a principle my EAD was not approved, and my spouses was? Another enquiry was initiated. The same day evening I had a mail from DHS stating that they have requested my file and it will take 60 days. My case was approved on 06/29. You should hear the good news soon.

Good Luck!
