Approved while abroad

I remember there was a thread regarding this. Just want to share personal experience on this: My spouse was abroad, while our 485 was approved. Came in with no problem.

Did she go through 'deferred inspection' or whatever they call it these days?

no. regular thing, check the computer, stamp and boom, go. I was a little concerned and asked the lawyer what would happen. He said, since you can not predict when the approval would happen, this should not be a problem at all.
