Glad to let everybody know that finally, I got an email notification about me and my wife's approval on 7/8/2004. 
Its been a long journey so far, wishing everybody all the best in their applications as well. I was a frequent visitor to this site. I would like to thank all of you folks (Kashmir, Sillyman, Rajiv) for keeping our hopes alive throughout. It was a revelation seeing all the reports about the approval statistics all over. Should share this data with INS, they might find it useful!!!
