I-485 was approved on Aug 16th.

2 weeks after my 2nd FP, the online case status changed to "FP Received", a week from that there was a vague message saying
"On July 30, 2004, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued."
Since I received nothing from CIS, I called the National Service Center on Aug 17th to initiate a delivery inquiry. I checked my online status before calling the service center, there was no change. Within 15 minutes from my call out of curiosity I checked the online status and found the proper "Approved" message. May its a coincidence or they updated the website after my inquiry.
It was a long run from filing for my labor in 1999 till GC in 2004.
