Folks,

My I-485 was approved yesterday Dec 30, 2003. Below are the details.

Case # WAC 02 059 xxxxx
First FP - May '02
Second FP - Oct '03
RFE sent - Dec 11, '03
RFE Recd - Dec 16, '03
RFE Replied - Dec 19, '03
RFE Acknowledged - Dec 24, '03
Approved - Dec 30, '03

Who recieves the approval notice? Me or my lawyer? I updated my address three weeks back. I hope they send it to my current address.

Cool! Congratulations.

If the approval letter is sent to you and you haven't updated INS
your new address, better find a way to access your old mailbox.
Such letters usually do not allow forwarding. Instead they are
returned to INS if the addressee has moved. (It happened to us
when we applied B2 extension for my in-laws and moved before
receiving the approval letter.)

I recieved the approval letter today. Plan to do stamping next week.
