Approved Today In Miami

Hi Everyone:
I just back from my interview where I was approved for citizenship, 15 months from time I mailed application to today, 5 month delay as I was originally scheduled when Hurricane Wilma hit.

Anyone have any idea when the next Miami Oath ceremony is scheduled?

Miami used to have large ceremonies every 2-3 months. They used to take place in Miami Beach Convention center.

Congratulations... Indeed Miami does ceremonies in Miami Beach convention center but since last December they are doing smaller ones in the DO itself. My wife was interviewed last Jan 6th and approved but so far no letter. There are some other persons in the same boat and we are calculating mid March / begin of April for those interviewed in January. Search the thread that contains Miami Oath 2006 and we will be posting there as we receive any letters but from what I see you should be for May or June. My oath took from Sept 29 to Dec 13th and my wife is still waiting 2 month after so... 2 to 4 months is a reasonable expectation...hope yours get faster anyway.
