Finally I saw a status change for my case. Online status says Approved. Hope it doesn't turn back to what it was till Yesterday.
Here is information that I hope could help a lot of people.
I have been with the same company as a consultant. Between 2001-2003 I was unemployed for a total of more thant 15months. Sure enough I got RFE for W2s and Employment letter. My company which had supported me all through(well yeah.. slave companies support the slaves.. dont they?). I sent the RFE with W2s having 40% less salary than labor for those two years.
And my lawyer was a high profile white collar DUMB ASS. He never followed up with CIS nor was he inclined to. I waited a month after my RD in processing dates and took things in my hand. My status inquiry result said 30-60 days. Right after 60 days I faxed an expedite request which was denied. Right after it was denied, I contacted the Senator last week. My next step was to contact AILA liaison office in VSC and then go over it all over and over again until I get a result.
Based on my case here is what I think.
If you get FP2 after your RFE it pretty much means you are clear. If it gets delayed after that it means your case is sleeping somewhere and so is your IIO. I believe(I may be wrong) they dont send FP2 until everything is in order(name check, rfe results..BLAH BLAH BLAH..).. So if your RD has passed the processing times, do not hesitate to use any legal means possible to follow up. I really admired someone who send 3 requests to CIS. There is no other way we can make CIS realise what they are putting as through.
I may be rude, but those whose RD has not come into the processing dates, just be patient and don't complain. There are so many people before you waiting and one day you will find FIFO help you too.
My hearts goes for everybody who is unfairly delayed and denied their rights in the world's greatest country.
Thanks for Rajiv for this forum and the support it provides everyone.
