Approved Spouse Visa, but not issued

I have already attended my immigrant visa interview, on February 23,2020. The officer congratulated me and kept my passport and sent an email to my spouse, to inform about the green card payment. My medical result report was not ready on the interview date. But, it was ready on April 23, 2020, two months after the interview and I’m not positive of any disease. I got MMR vaccine already. However, I didn’t received my visa or any update from the embassy yet. Wil the EO affect my visa application and issuance?. What will be the possible status of my visa application?.

Thank you.

I suggest you contact the embassy for clarification, however, under the EO you would have needed a valid visa dated latest 23 April. So if the embassy only got your medical that day it is unlikely to have been issued that day, and likely you now need to wait till after the EO expires for issuance. Again, the embassy is the only one that can tell you for sure.

Thank you for your response and suggestions.

However, still there is no way to contact the embassy, rather than email or phone call, which will be replied by customer service officers or help desk, not the courier officer. I asked same question and they replied with automated message which is seems general answer like informations on the travel.state.gov, regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. That’s why I posted my questions on this forum. Thank you for your response.

Does the president Trump’s tweet on May 18, 2020 “OPEN OUR COUNTRY” opens embassies and the pending immigrant visa application(approved, but not issued), be processed? Thank you
