Till now I have been a silent reader of this forum .I am glad to inform that I received 2 mails regarding my approval. The details are as follows :

EB3 India
Labor Substitution (PD May 13th 1998)
I-140 (approved Aug 2003 from TSC)
I-485 (Filed in VSC Notice Date 09/24/03, Receipt date 09/27/03)

NOTE :There was a NOID on my I-140. This was in error. Lawyer followed up with USCIS and processing was resumed after that.

FP notice for 11/29/04 (done on the same day in Buffalo)
FP received 12/02/04
No LUD after than (was nervous )
I-485 Approved 01/05/05

I added my wife to I-485 application last august (2004). Haven't received any updates for her yet. She did get her EAD though.

I have taken Infopass appnt. in Buffalo for 01/14/05.

I would like to thank everyone on the forum for putting this information portal together. It provides a wealth of information which sometimes even lawyers don't have a knowledge about.

Also one peculiar thing about my case, I did not submit my birth Certificate nor any affidavit. Only submitted the Domicile certificate. Also had to change lawyers half-way through. But by god's grace everything fell into right place.

Got approval. subs labor case

Mine is a substitue labor case. Got approval for I-485 today.
PD - 1/30/2001 (org labor).
I-140 - approved 04/03.
I-485 - filed 07/14, approval 01/05 :) :) :) :) :D :D :D :D

Thank You very much for the wishes. It was a short journey compared to some who have been waiting for more than 4 years.

I did the PP stamoing today ( no hassles there).Also went to the SSN office to get a replacement card. Expecting both the cards in 10-days time.
