Approved ! RD/ND 2002 June

Got the 485 approval e-mails for both myself and my wife from USCIS 14th midnight.

Wanted to share stressful exp with Advance Parole....
Last year my wife had to go to India for emergency and Advance Parole got delayed.(lost in snail mail) Could not get Emergency parole from Charlotte and from TSC even after sending the necessary proof. Luckily everything went fine at the last second. Pathetic thing was TSC could not give me another Parole even after getting approval. They asked us to resubmit the application.

Year before that could not travel for marriage anniversary outside US because of the ever lasting delays in getting Advance Parole approval (8 months).

I-485 Approvals - Texas

Hi,

I just wanted to understand the criteria being followed by Texas center for
issuing FP notices and approving 485 cases.

My RD for I-485 is Oct 2002 and I have not recieved any intimation regarding my Ist FP. etc.

Any idea as to when the Ist FP is likely to be done and when the cases of
Oct 2002 are likely to be adjudicated.

I believe noone is sure what policy they have or either what they have they follow too.... many shared that they got approved and others are in same months even haven't received FP yet. Its wierd for us but common as ppl shared their exp.


As many ppl shared that they filled Apr/May/Jun...... 2002 and they haven't got their FP yet too. few of them sent Letters to TSC indicating that they havne't received FP....and in few weeks they got FP.... so its really unpredictable and noone can exactly give u answer. but ...... but u can try sending FP request..... and see what happens.
