As per on-line and AVM, my and my wife's I-485 cases were approved today i.e. on 05/12/03. I was concerned about getting any RFE and also the expiry of our fingerprint during first week of June '03. Got laid off few weeks back and still have not joined any employer. I do have some offers in my hand.

RD: 12/31/2001
ND: 01/18/2002
FP done: 03/05/02
FP recd: 03/14/2002
AD: 05/12/2003
R. No: EAC-02-089-5****
EB3 - INDIA

I will update once we are done with our passports stamping.

This board has been a great source of information & comfort over the last couple of months. I have been a silent visitor to this site and have registered just now only to post my approval hoping that this post brings some comfort to at least some that are still anxiously waiting.

Your location under your screen name says, Houston, TEXAS.
Is your I 485 filed with Vermont center or Texas center?

Please clarify on this.

He has receipt number starting with EAC.... Means......... he filed with VSC.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware of the fact that EAC is issued only by Vermont center. I guess that is what you mean to say?

Well VSC starts with EAC-, NSC starts with LIN- and so on..
So this should be a VSC case...
 
Based on this person's EAC number, we can assume that the january RD's will have EAC-02-090 onwards. Because this person has a RD of Dec'31 and EAC number EAC-02-089-***. If any one has time they can explore whether EAC-02-09*-***** series has started getting approvals.
