I got the courtesy copy of the approval on wednesday.
Here are the details:
RD 9/27/00 ND 10/30/00 FP 1/30/01 EAD/AP 12/00 EB-1
Approved on 8/13/01. FP rejected for spouse.
Spoke to IIO since we didn\'t receive the approval letter
for my wife. She (IIO) mentioned that my wife\'s finger
prints are no good. When I told her that I haven\'t rec\'d
any letter from INS regarding this, she mentioned that the
local office where her finger prints were taken should have
sent a letter. She said since I haven\'t received any letter
we can walk -in and get the FP redone. Is this possible?
Didn\'t sound right to me!
Anyway, after speaking to the IIO I called my attorney and they
said that they rec\'d the FP redo notice this morning and it has been
scheduled for Sept 13th.
My question is: If anyone has gone through FP redo can you tell
me how long did it take for approval after FP redo?
I have been mostly a passive participant of this forum, but I would
like to say this forum has been of great help and excellent source of
information for me. Thanks to Rajiv Khanna for maintaining it and
also thanks to the people who are maintaining the immitracker site.
