Approved today.

Keep positive. Good things happen if you stay
positive. My friends who are negative and always
cursing haven\'t got approved, but my positive
friends and I have.

Congrats on your approval ! Good luck !
About your comments, you would have cursed too if your case had taken
longer . My I140 took 18 months for approval . Applied in july 1999
got approval in jan 2001 .
I dont blame your friends but also congratulate on your good luck .

Have you got your LC and I-140 approved in one month?? Or you filed your 485/140 before getting 140/LC approved??

Labor took a few weeks.
I140 took nearly 7 weeks.
AOS took nearly 9 months

I remember some people getting approved
in 6 months (but they didn\'t need LC).
So there is always someone worse of or
better of then you!

If you think positive and be happy,
even if you don\'t get approved soon
you are still happy!
 
Well nobody is

depressed and unhappy about not having his/her approval .
It is frustrating that some unlucky ones have to wait longer ( read years ) than others .

I have a friend who filed I140 in 04/01 and he just
encountered the large volume of 245(i) so he didn\'t get
his receipt until 06/01 then got his I140 approval in September.
You are really lucky to avoid the 245(i) large flow.

The dates for LC/I-140 don\'t make much sense, but the RD for I-485 is not out of whack. If this is a legitimate posts, enjoy your approval, if this is just to make noise, please don\'t add more noise.

The INS was moving fast if you filed anything
pre 04/15/01. I believe 245 deadline was around that
date.

If you filed after that date things got very slow.

AMum are you listed on Pcee\'s or Ciba\'s tracking list? I would like to see your details ....

FP done at Oakland on 11/08/01 as scheduled
(tried to go earlier, but couldn\'t)

I saved time by doing everything before my I140
approval, so when I140 approved, I just filed
it straight away.

I am now leaving this site, it is no use sharing
information with people who don\'t believe you and
then insult you.

It is really perplexing

I have been looking at archived JIT reports and doesn\'t seem like an I-140 filed at the beginning of April could have been approved at the beginning of May, even for EB2. I am EB3 and took me from end of February (filed) to mid June (approved).

It seems that I-140 processing is sequential unlike I-485, which makes this case more baffling.

My LC took 3 weeks in JAN 2001 and I applied for I140 in March which took about 5 month to get through. If Amun applied for his LC around Mar how did he get the 140 in 7 weeks? No body I remember who applied that time got it so soon due April rush.

May be he\'s the lucky one, so enjoy and congratulations.
