Been a passive visitor on this site for over a year now. The site has effectively made up for INS\'s reluctance to provide adequate information for the applicants. Thanks to Mr. Rajiv Khanna for facilitating this forum.

My I-485 details:
Country: India
RIR, EB2, Nebraska center
RD: 4/23/01
ND: 5/11/01
FP: 7/16/01 (Cincinnati, OH)
AD: 6/3/02 per AVM

No RFE on mine. Received an RFE for my wife for birth certificate on 4/2/02, response received by INS on 4/23/02. Thanks again one and all.

When you responded to your wife\'s RFE, did your AVM message change to say that the response is received.

I have a similar case - When RFE was issued for my wife\'s BC - the AVM for my LIN changed to say that the RFE is issued on 04/03/2002.
When I responded to the RFE,for my wife\'s LIN Number the AVM changed to say that the RFE is received on 04/13/2002. But for my LIN# the AVM still repeats the same old one - the RFE was issued on 4/3...

WHen I called IIO to find out about this , she said that this is an issue and refered to a committee...

What was the AVM status in your case at various stage after RFE. Would you mind sharing that info...

Yes, the AVM did say that they received a response for a request for evidence on April 23. The messages on AVM are not always consistent with your case status. For example, in some cases, the AVM is updated after they receive the finger printing ... whereas in other cases they do not mention anything. I am glad I don\'t have to hear that anymore.
