Wanted to share this news with y'all.

The online message says "This case has been approved. On March 5, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. "

Exactly two weeks ago, my case was transfered to VSC local office.

Yet to get my approval notice.

But my son's case message reads something I never came across on this forum. Here it is...

"The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center."

I don't know about you all, there is always something that confounds me in the GC process.

I guess you are right.

When I get the approval notice, I will really know who approved my case.

What do you mean "VSC local office". I thought you didn't know the name of the district office but in my case TSC mentioned the local office when they transferred my case to the local office.

As far as I know status on line do not change after transfer to the local office but your case was different. So I suppose your case was controlled by VSC or TSC. Would please advise more informations if you know?

Not sure what the local office is. But approval notices came from VSC. Got passports stamped on 03/15/2004.
