My 485 "AOS" was approved on 06.05.02. I checked last night on 06.06.02.
Here are my dates.
PD 09/99
RD 07/20/01
FP 01/09/02
FP for spouse 04/04/02
AD 06/05/02.
Checked 2 times last month and once this month on 03 with the IIO. They kept on saying that everything looks ok. But I guess I got delayed becuase of spouse\'s delayed FP.
I was placed in EB-III inspite of having over 10 yrs. experince and Masters from IIT. Guess lawyer was too busy collecting money rather then carefully looking and presenting my case to INS. Nevertheless approval is done.
So like OP Ralhan said in "Talaash" \'if you want to be happy look at all those who are in worse shape then you, and if said ....\' . But I am sure all of the guys who want it, will get it, a bit late maybe for their expectation.
