Here are some notes :
1) I never changed my job.
2) I moved just this month, but sent in the AR-11 immediately.
3) I got married in Aug 2002, i.e. a year after i applied for I-485.
4) Applied for wife's I-485 in Oct 2002.
5) Her EAD got approved this week, but we are waiting for her AP.
6) My H-1 expired in Nov 2002.

Obviously, my story isnt over yet. My wife's 485 may get approved only next year !!!!

my wife is also approved !!!! She was RD OCT 2002, so i didnt expect her to get it, but she too has been approved !

U mentioned that ur H1 Expired...that means ur I-94 expired too,right??
SO I am guessing that doest create a problem,as long as we have a valid EAD,AP,etc
I was aware of that,but dint know people who got approved,who were in that situation
U see,my L1-A visa and I-94 expired in Oct 2002,and so am conjuring of worst case scenarios...

yes Jack. Our H-1/H-4/I-94 had all expired. So i dont think thats a big deal as long as you have your EAD in place. The AP, of course, is a need-based thingee. I think you should be fine.

Funnily, my wife's EAD and AP are still waiting to be approved !
