Friends, Finally its my turn to say its 'approooved'. Here is my details:
PD : Dec'99
RD : 11/02/01
ND: 12/05/01
FP1 : 03/30/02
RFE issued: 05/21/03
RFE recieved : 06/27/03
FP2 : 08/22/03
AD: 10/27/03
It has been a long way since it was finally approved.
I filed for my 3rd EAD extension last week . I am not sure if that triggered the approval.
Also, I think those whoever have completed their 2nd FP and has applied for EAD extension can surely see some results. I also definitely believe that VSC is indeed working on backlogs and those cases where FP1 is close to expiration.
Out of sheer frustration, I had decided not see the status of my case for next 15 days. To my surprise I received my approval notice today(11/03).
All said and done it was worth the wait. I thank GOD for keeping my job in these bad times. Also, this forum has been great not just for immigration but also for couple of other interesting stuff.
Hats of to Rajeev Khanna who has done a great job.
