Approved... My wife and I got our approval notices today AD 05/28/02

I had made a resolution that I wouldnt check AVM till my case got approved and I didnt this week. We got our courtesy copies in the mail today.
WAC-01-276-8XXXX
RD: 07/25/01
ND: 09/06/01
PD: 08/17/00
FP done late November and AVM updated to "On 12th Jan 2002 processing resumed".
Assigned to IIO: 04/09/02
Called IIO at least 5 times since april 02.
AD: 05/28/02
Incidentally the AD is also our wedding anniversary.
Will go to Santa Ana to get stamping tomorrow. Havent checked AVM yet.
This has been a great forum and my special thanks to Pcee, rsrgc, milli, sonofindia and the list goes on. Will post stamping experience once I get it done.
 
do you thinking talking to IIO actually expedite the case?

Congratulations. Also I noticed that you mentioned you talked to IIO 5 times since April 2002 and then your case approved soon after.

Do you think it is coincidence or it really helped? Thanks.

Do I need to take the original for stamping or the copy is fine ?

Hello Vando, I think it helped in getting the case assigned

I spoke to an IIO for the first time on the 8th of April. She happened to be a very nice and courteous lady. She did not commit anything on the timeline of approval or assignment. However, n the 9th of April, my case was assigned. I strongly believe that she had something to do with it. I dont think my subsequent calls helped any.
Wish everyone a speedy approval.
 
I did not get an RFE at any stage. I did have problems with my BC and didnt take tetanus shot.
