Hi ,

Myself and my wife's 485 case approved on Jan 12.
My son case says case status is not found.
what are the documents required for passport stamping ?
For my son am I going to get welcome notice with my appoval notice or it is going to delay ?
I am planning to travel next month .
INS is allow passport staming for minor based on wel-come notice .
please some expert commnets.

Congratulations you lucky guy, I think the notice would be self-explainatory as what documents you need to carry.:)

you need the approval notice and your passport. You have to surrender your EAD and AP.

I dont about your travel next month. Cuz if you did the stamping before then, you wont get the card by then. And I dont know if you can travel outside on AP when your application has been approved.

Does anyone know if the I-551 stamp on the passport is enough for a re-entry?

Since the stamp looks pretty 'fake'(no US seal or anything) there could be problems in other countries before allowing the holder on a flight. It is better to carry the approval notice and the new social security card with you also, along with the I-551 stamp.
