Was scanning some random data in NSC and I came across one 485 case that says approved.

lin0417551901

"This case has been approved. On June 2, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

Most other apps with this date are received on June 1st. ( 04-175 series)

How come this got approved in what looks like only one day ??? ( June 2nd)

Obviously its not correct - but what's the explanation for this ?

Ideas anyone ?

That's funny :)

I thought the only payoff for that was the extended TV time ....

Seriously, you really had to do something like that to get approved in a DAY !

max2k1,
If there is no software glitch..., you should be able to catch the reciept number for N400 for this guy, may be he took an oath on July 4!! who knows??

Yeah - who knows ....

Now who did not trust USCIS when they said backlogs won't exist ... huh ?
See -- 1 day your honor - so no backlog.

Really though, I saw this case some 10 days back or so ... I saved the LIN and checked again hoping that the glitch (if any) would've been handled - but no !
Maybe we can all follow this to see, if we get the "Card Mailed" message next :)
