Just wanted to give you guys an update. We were out of the country for a month until November 25th. While away, I found out from my brother that the physical greencard arrived on November 15th!! It is valid for two years. It is a joyous end to many sleepless nights and nervous moments. Thanks to everyone on this board.

Wow, start to finish in a New York Minute! Congrats! :)

By the by, Jewel12, any LUD activity on your I-765 lately? Just curious as we appear to have similar timelines.

Nope, Heretic, no activity, and frankly, I'm not expecting anything until after my interview :D

Looks like they're getting to the September filings now, so who knows, eh? I'm really hoping I'll have my AP for the Holidays, but I'm not overly optimistic. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. :)

Congratulations...

Congratulations...

Enjoy your many travels in the near future without worrying about visa issues.

oh... in NY, your greencard is required for a free yearly BUS/SUBWAY pass as a way of welcoming to the BIG APPLE... :D

So, take advantage of this once in a lifetime offer from NY TRANSIT system.....

AL :p

sarcasm...

Hey Al, not sure if that was sarcasm, but can you post a link to that program please?

Heretic,

Yes.... I can attach a link.... but will be arrested for giving out this most secretive MTA program.... :p

Man... I wish NY would be such a welcoming place, and offer recent immigrants a yearly metro pass, because most immigrants, once they settle in NY, they become generational new yorkers. I wonder how they make and like it in NY, for me it is a rat race of dirty in some places in NY......

I was just kidding, no such program exist.... at least till I become a major of the city....... :D

ciao,

AL

What kind of visa were you on? was it K1? From the dates on posted on website, NYC and Washington DC are processing very slow.

Congratulations tsnbagman! Heretic and others, how about posting a new thread with New York City DO I-485 family based timelines? I'm thinking may be others will post their timelines too once we start :)
