The magic emails came just moments ago (9 pm eastern time). No RFE, in fact my application did not even have W-2 (Tax Returns were there) or Pay Stubs but my lawyer had done a very good job. I started my labor in April 2003 last year (Special handling for professors) and that only took a few months. I got 1 EAD and 1 AP for myself and my wife. I did send two faxes recently to TSC (on advise of SurviveTSC). Maybe that did it (and/or the daily prayers of my wife). I had also sent fax/emails to FBI for name check but have not heard back as of yet.

I have a very IMPORTANT question. Yesterday I applied for my 2nd EAD; the application has not reached TSC yet. How can I stop that application?
1. Should I put a stop payment on the check?
2. Will TSC realize themselves I don’t need the EAD card and return my money.
3. Should I just forget about it, will they deny my EAD application and will it have any affect on my approved I-140/I-485?

luzarun , Congrats ..
do not warry about EAD.

I think they will realize that your PR case is approved ONCE THEY ENTER YOUR A# number into system. To be in a safe side, i would call 1-800 and ask their advice .

I WERE YOU, I WOULD TAKE PAPER APPROVAL AND GET PASSPORT STAMPED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE . tHIS WAY, YOUR pr STATUS WILL BE PROTECTED

My RD is 10/7/2003 and ND is 10/8/2003. My fingerprinting was on 12/29/03. I faxed to TSC basically telling them that my EAD, AP and fingerprints will expire soon. The fax number is the office, I will post it on Monday (or look by a post by SurviveTSC on the msn.groups.com/texasimmigration). Folks no advise on my strange situation with my renewal application for EAD? Any thoughts.

You need to write a letter to TSC asking them to withdraw your EAD application. Make sure you send a copy of your approval notice of 485 with it. They will than "cancel without prejudice" your EAD application and you will get a letter from them for your records. Forget the money issue, clear up all the loose ends.

Sorry I posted it in groups.msn.com\texasimmigration. Anyway 214-489-8021

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am writing this letter to inquire about the status of my concurrently filed I-140/I-485 application (Category XXX) with a Notice date of XXX. I and my spouse (XXX, Derivative applicant for I-485) did our finger printing on XXX. The details of our application are as follows:

Last Name First Name A# SRC # Application Type

Our EAD, AP and finger printing results will expire soon. I will be extremely grateful if you could adjudicate our application before the expiry of the above mentioned documents.

Thanking you for your consideration,

Sincerely,

I sent my request 6 months before the expiry of my finger printing. My RD for I-140/I-485 was Oct 2003. My next strategy was to renew my and my wife's EAD and AP one by one (NOT at the same time). Also, I sent the request twice, SurviveTSC thinks (and I agree) 11 in the morning is an auspicious time.
Good Luck...
I understand your anxiety
I think I am one of the few guys who has pretty much read all posting on this, immigration.com and Murthy.com (and I mean all Service Centers and ALL topics)
