Approved I-130

Hi
i had interview on 5th of December for the adjustment of status.I was told that I would not be approved on that same day as they didnt had all the documents and I was asked to send the document bymail.
Today i got a letter in my mail which said that my I-130 petition has been approved.
Does this mean that I can go and get the stamp on my passport and start work. I would be glad if someone can tell me what this means.

you mean i-485 approval

if i-485 is not aaproved, you can not get stamp

It has to specifically say that the "adjustment of status application" has been approved to get the stamp. I-130 is only the initial PR application.
