Hello All,
Very Very happy to let you all know that 485 for Self and Family got approved 10 minutes back. Will post my detailed story later on. This forum has been just fantastic. Thanks a lot to everyone and good Luck to all :-)

Congratulations!!! Enjoy the life after GC.
Could you post your xFER date, it may give us some hope for 2005 RD cases.
 
Transfer Date is March 15 with LUD's on 03/23 and 03/27. No LUD's after that. Been to Infopass on 06/14 and was told that all chacks are clear.

The interesting fact is, I spoke to TSC IO on 03/13 and was told that name Check is pending. Goes to prove not to believe the TSC IO's. well, if they are not to be believed, then who else to believe. Well, the wait is always painful until it is over. Fortunately for us, it is over.

Congrats Subi..I am very happy for you. I am close to you dates and have lof of similarities.

Could u tell me your ND of 485?

My RD is June 29 2005 and ND is July 19 2005.

I cam to this country in Dec'98 on H-4 and my first H-1 was denied in May 1999. Filed another H-1 and was approved in Dec 99. Changed a bunch of employers since then and then again a transfer of H-1 was denied in Feb 2002. Was out of status and went back to India in Feb 2002. Another H-1 was filed at the same time under Premium processing route and was approved instantly but the US consulate at Channei, India took one full year to stamp it. Came back to the US in Oct 2004 and original Labor filed in Dec 2004. On June 21st 2005, my attorney emailed me about a substituion labor that my company wants to use for me and filed 140 and 485 within 7 days. And now, I am approved. Sounds pretty terse and simple but the pain that I underwent when my H-1 transfer was denied was just too much to take.

Anyways, all's well that end well. Keep your hopes up. Your day will come. Infact, I was so obsessed with this GC thing since the dates became current that I was unable to concentrate on anything else. My wife was so against me obsessed with this and I promised her yesterday that I will try and divert myself. But we all know this is easier said than done.

I know it was reall pain, and I did u see you hard path. Finally you are free now and have lots of freedom.

My ND/RD of 485: 6/21/05, I am from India and PD: 3/23/99 (Sub. Labor). Don't know when I will be picked up.

Good to see 2005 approvals. Once again congrats Subi.
 
There was a LUD on my 485 applications today. No message change. No chnage on derivates applications. I am just holding my breath.
