ND: 09/03/2003. Me and my wife got approved yesterday,i.e., 12/15. My son's (age 8 years) status still shows received etc... state. LUD for him, also changed to 12/15. LUD for all of us again changed today to 12/16.

Need your help /guidance on these questions.

Q1. Why is son's case not approved together with ours? Is it normal? Is there any thing me/ my attorney need to do?

Q2. We have approved APs for all us. My wife and son plan to travel to India around Jan 1-2, 2005. Tickets are already purchased. How can I speed up our PP stamping so that it happens before they leave for India? Do we need stamp on Kid's PP as well? (pl. note he is not approved as yet.) Also we don't have approval notice in our hand.

Q3. Can I go for stamping without approval notices?

Q4. Which local office I am supposed to go for stamping? I did FP in Hartford CT recently and my address has not changed since then. Can I apply for InforPass without approval notice in, to secure appointment for some December, 2004 date? And what happens if approval notice don't arrive by that?

congrats !!!

congrats !!!

do you think your AP made trigger for your 485 approval ?
Because your AP is very close to your Approval.

Congrats

1. Its normal. Your son will be approved and he will recd directly his GC.
2. You cannot go for stamping without an approval letter. They will treat you like a dog.
3. You can take info appointment without approval letter. It dose not matter whether you can make it or not. You can re-schedule. Also you can go directly for stamping without an appointment. I am not familar with your service center. Its better you call and find out.

Enjoy your freedom ......

I guess it may have. But I think it was in normal course of approvals. As you can see, recently, there are lot of approvals around my dates.

Need advice.

Thanks Eig for your reply. This was helpful.

I already took InfoPass appointment for Dec 30th.

Now the question which still bothers me is: Since my son is not approved yet, and if me and my wife go for PP stamp on 30th, can we get his PP also stamped even though there is no approval? This appears to be a silly thought but the reason I am asking is that at the time of stamping they take back APs. So we wouldn't be left with any document with us for his return.

Here is another scenario. Any thoughts on these lines will be highly appreciated: Suppose we go for PP, may be even an early walking-in type PP, will that help trigger my son's approval? If so. Is it soon?

Thanks in advance

Add - You can get your passport stamped based on e-mail only WHEN in next few days you have to catch a flight to home country ( you need to show them fight tickets as well ).
