Hi dear friends...
I would like to share my experience with this very knowlegeable forum about my case...
Like a lot of you I apply for asylee in feb 1994 I was granted Asylee in 1998...I apply for Adjust Status in Feb 2002 (Wife AS7, Daughter AS8 and my Self AS06)...June 2004 bio, finger, medical exam, etc done...Dec 06 2004 GC received for my wife and daugther...Dec 07 welcome letter for the three of us (my wife, daughter and my self)...as off today I do not received my GC, I call to the Service Center and I was adviced to go to local SC with my approval letter..my NP was stamped with 1 year validity LPR...they said"If I do not receive my GC during this year I have to reapply for the seal in my passport" ...
Question:
This is a regular issue, something is wrong?

Just find out this site which is very helpful, thanks to everyone here.
My RD is Dec. 01, RFI is Aug. 05 and case transfered to local office on Nov. 05 received interview notice and waiting for that.
My question is to Mr.Bubalu:
Did you have interview, when did they stamped on your NP, was your NP still valid at that time?
And what is the meaning of "to reapply for the seal in my passport" ...
