Finally got approved. more relief than happiness. two years and half month. I know some people who had same RD dates as mine got approved a year ago, it was a miserable two years to wait in almost darkness.

Have tried everything. Senator, writing letter to VSC director. calling 800 customer service and so on. Not much help from each of them, but you don't know until you tried them.

(On a separate note, I heard service centers are going to restore limited direct calling due to large number of complains of 800 number inefficiency. ETA is Jan 2004. )
