Approved, 5/11/01, AVM changed yesterday night.

Thank God it is done. Thanks to everbody for their help. Special thanks to Rajiv Khanna for running this forum. It was the only sane thing in the whole process.

What was the issue with EB3/EB2?
I am in a similar situation. There seems to be a confusion in INS about my filing status !!!
Can you please ellaborate on that and suggest some action.

I asked INS many times about my status and sometime they told me I was in EB2 and sometime EB3. But I guess it really didn\'t matter much. There is nothing much that we can do....

Even I am in the same situation. INS feels that I am in EB3 although my Labor & I-140 were approved under EB2 since I had Masters in Engg.
My lawyer spoke to them last week and she says they are pulling my file to take a look at it again. But my PD (10/98) becomes current for EB3 starting June\'2001. So I am not that worried even if it does not get corrected or should I ?? .
