My case was approved after 34 months of waiting.
Category: EB2 (non-concurrent)
I140 filed nov2002, approved sep2003
I485 filed oct 2003, approved aug2003
FP1: Jan2004
FP2: Jul2005 code1
no RFE
no interview
Just got PP stamped and waiting on card.
The online message was never updated since FP1 and I was happy but surprised to see approval in the mail.
Am glad it is finally over.
Hope you all get gc very soon also.

Congrats PNAYAR! Your 485 filing is close to mine and it really feels great to see approvals after such a long time, doesn't it? Anyway, where did you go for stamping? I stamped here in Charleston South Carolina on 07/25, and still no update on the plastic.

Yeah, it is a big relief, to have the PP stamp.
I did it in JAX office, FL.
They don't let anyone in without an appointment and not prior to 15 mins appt time.
So stayed overnight at a hotel nearby and then the actual stamping exp was only 15 mins.

Hope that forever485 gets plastic soon.
Was there any online message change for approval?

I was told at imm office that it takes a few weeks to months ot get the card, but most of my friends got it in 2-3 weeks, so hope yours is in the mail today.
Found out also that you have to check details on it carefully.
If there is a mistake, you have to file some form (have to check the USCIS website for the #) along with 70$ even if it is USCIS error!!!
Hope that does not happen....

Congratulations on a much deserved approval. It is always great to see old cases getting approved. Its painful to see processing dates race ahead while a bunch of us get left behind. One by one we will all get there.
