Guys,

The pain is over. My attorney got our approval notices today by mail. It is approved on 02/20/2003.

Actually I went to INS in Sanfrancisco today to get IEAD for me & my wife becuase my EAD expires tomorrow.

This crazy INS doesn't change either AVM or Online status to approved till today.

When I was in INS and waiting for photo to be taken after 5 hours, My attorney called my cell and informed the good news of my approval.

If INS updated the approval status in AVM or in Online, I would have avoided my holy journey to INS today.

Anyhow guys, I got approval & I am happy.

I wish all of you to get your approval pretty fast.

RD: 10/09/2001
ND: 11/09/2001
FP: 02/28/2002
EAD: 02/26/2002
RFE: 10/30/2002
RFE Replied: 11/11/2002
RFE Received: 11/25/2002
Approval: 02/20/2003

I have one question though when you gave your application at the counter today, for the renewal , officer didn't tell you that you are approved ?
 
No.

I think they don't have any verification machanism.

INS departments work in isolation. That put us in lot of trouble.
 
Congratulations, a very funny location to hear about your approval notice, but I am sure also a very pleasant one. Considering you never have to apply for EAD again! :)

Got the approval on 2/11/03. My EAD was valid untill 2/12/03.
