We got the emails today. "On June 19, 2006, a welcome notice was mailed for this case." My husband and I are OVERJOYED and ECSTATIC.

Here's our information:

EB-2; NSC; Non-Retrogressed Country
PERM approved on November 16, 2005
I-140/I-1485 concurrently filed on January 19, 2006
I-140 AD: Feb. 16, 2006
I-485 AD: June 19, 2006 (Welcome Notice Email)

Congratulations. That was really quick!
Did you notice any LUD changes before you recieved this welcome e-mail? We are also from non-retrogressed country and our 485 receipt date is in Dec 05, so I am checking the online status frequently these days. If you could share your experience, that would be great.

Thanks! The only LUD change I had was a day after our biometrics. Our appointment was March 22, then an LUD on March 23. I checked again today, and there'a change on the LUD (June 20) but not change in message. It still says the same thing about "welcome notice."

No RFE received.

I hope you get your approval soon.
 
Thanks for the info. It's very helpful to hear what actually happened before the approval. Enjoy "not having to worry about visas"!
