I have been a silent user in this group but I am happy to finally get my green card approved. I got an e-mail stating that
"The last processing action taken on your case Receipt Number: LINXXXXXXXX
Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER
PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Card production ordered. On June 18, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."
I am reading that as case approved, does anyone disagree with that?
Here is a question for the group, unfortunately I have been on personal leave for more than a month as my EAD has expired and am still waiting for its
approval.
Does the above notice from USCIS good enough for meto resume work or do I have to physically have a green card or a EAD crad to resume? I have an
appointment with an immigration officer today, do they have authority to allow me to work because of the above notice. Any help or experinece on this will be greatly appreciated.
By the way for you guys to get an idea how NSC is processing the I-485's my PD was Nov 20th 2002 and Received date was April 30th 2003.
Again any help on my question will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
