Approved but Address Update did not occur

Hi Everyone,
Like I promtply updated my status right after I received email saying that welcome letter was mailed to me (and my wife), I received another set of emails this morning with current status as "Approval notice sent".

But here is the issue:
We moved early this month and I used USCIS online system on june 8th to file AR-11 and do address changes. The system apparently changed my address and I received USPS-mail to confirm that. But it did not update address on my wife's file, which was pending at that time. But by the time we received USPS-mail saying that the record was not updated, our cases were approved. When I called USCIS, the rep said that they cannot change the address on approved cases and my have to wait for 30 days and call them back.
When there is every proof that the case was approved and address is not updated, why wouldn't they do something. I am stuck here.... ANY HELPPP..........similar situations.....

CAN SOMEONE PLEEEEAAASE THROW SOME LIGHT ON THIS ISSUE....

Congratulations on your approval. What's your PD/Rd EB ?

I think you should call USCIS again and you might get another CSR to talk to. They specifically say in the approval e-mails that, if you have moved then update your address immediately with USCIS. Try again, you might be able to get it updated. If not, ask the CSR that you want a supervisor to talk to.
