A question: my approval notice says come to passport stamping with old style photos. Anyone went to passport stamping since Sep 1, which type of photo do they require -- old style, or the new passport style?

Congratulaions !!

It is the new style phots that you should take (passport style). Like all of USCIS systems, the forms and notices are outdated and have not been updated with new information. USCIS stopped accepting ADIT photos from Sept 1 this year.

You need to take the full frontal(passport) photographs. There are no more accepting ADIT style photographs. Even I had the same thing(to bring ADIT style) on my approval notices but I took only passport size photographs. To find more information click the link below.

The answer is really not that complicated. TAKE BOTH STYLEs !!! might cost 10 - 15 bucks more. GC is here.....thats whats the all important point !!
