Approved! A day after my birthday

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On July 13, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I got the email. It's a gift I wished for. It's a day late but that's OK. :D My I140 was approved on my wife's birthday last year. Do they approve the cases based on birthdays now? :eek:

I expected that both mine and my wife's case would be approved at the same time as they have been moving together for transfer, finger print and etc. However I didn't get the notice for my wife's yet. I wonder what's happening. :confused:

So at least until my wife's case gets approved, I am not completely over with I485 but I like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who shared their insights, patience, information and rumors and I hope all of you get the same nice surprise that I got very soon.

Most of my case details can be found in my signature below. There was no RFEs and I have not contacted any politicians or government officials other than calling USCIS customer service when my case was a month out of processing time and once again 6 month after that.

I recently got notice for second FP. My first FP was in March 06 and so it's within 18 months. There is no change in my LUD since Sep 06. Does the second FP comes after clearance of Name Check? Is there any correlation between second FP and Name Check clearance? Please share your experience.

FP expires every 15 months, not 18 months so this is the right time to get another FP notice.

I just checked my email, I see 4 emails from CRIS

First 2 emails approval notice for my wife and myself
Second 2 emails CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED

I was a silent observer, this site has helped me a lot to understand how the immigration process works. This process has really given me sleepless nights.
I wish best of luck to rest of the people who are waiting for there GC, hopefully by July end most of the people who have been waiting from 1999 to 2003 will make it. My info is as follows

Thank you. As you can see from my signature, my second FP is almost 2 years after the first FP and I guess what triggered it is probably not the expiration but the transfer to TSC. Rumor has it that the FP after transfer means the clearance of NC and I was hoping it was true. I hope your second FP turns out the same way.
