Finally approved after a long wait. Heard it yesterday on AVM.

And the strange thing is, when I spoke to IIO last friday, he told me that they are processing cases till 9/15, and as mine is 9/21, it would be a good idea for me to file for EAD renewal, which is expiring on 12/10. The message I got from him is that my case is not yet assigned and it may take a while. So the approval came as a big surprise to me.
