Approved 485 sent to old address

Hi Guys

Fact:
We fedex-ed the AR-11 address change in the morning and in the evening we saw the online status of 485 approved and they having mailed the approval letters.
BCIS has sent our 485 approval to one of our old address/es (we moved twice since we filed our 485)
Our lawyers has mailed the 485 approval they received to us, which we should receive tomorrow.
100% chances are that the letters they sent to our old address will be returned - undelivered - to BCIS

Question:

Is there an adverse impact of the 485 approval letter being returned to them?
Would anyone know??

No there is no adverse effect. But you need to call/fax service center to update your new address (AR-11 does not update on pending cases). If your lawyer got approval letter, go to USCIS office with that copy for passport stamp. Don't forget to update officer about your new address while stamping. Otherwise, your plastic green card will go to old address too.

BTW, how can you FedEx AR-11 to an USPS postbox? You don't need to spend money on FedEx, because AR-11 is not going to help to get your approval notice to your new address anyway. Certified mail is better (and cheap).

Thanks Pralay for your assurance. For AR-11, there are two addresses. One of those is for Fedex type delivery. I usually use Fedex because i get proof of delivery the next day itself via email. I charge it to my company who does not care...
