Hello fellow netizens,

We got our case approved on 09/05/2001. Just checked AVM today
morning. Approved for me and wife.

Details:

One time address change. NO RFE.

First of all I would like to thank God(Lord Shiva), for giving me enough
strength and patience to go through such a painful time.
Thanks to surfers - myladoor, OCT2000, Bhanu, Hanuman, set-me-free,
NeartoGC, immiuser, Ramesh, SGK, J_SINGH and all who are sharing their valuable experiences.
I learned lot about immigration process from all of you, that I could
never have known from my lawyer/attorney. And that made me feel comfortable
throughout entire GC process.

Everybody learns from each others experiences. So please guys try to keep
this board genuine one.

This is such a wonderful facilty provided by Mr Rajeev Khanna,
and I/we can never thank him enough. He is a very good person,
I, myself had personal experience with him. I left a voice mail for
a question and he called back within 24 hours(in fact 8 hours)
as he promises. Similarly, Ms Murthy\'s chat also helps lot for getting
answer to our questions.

Thanks and all the best to waiters. Now, after seeing light,
I know the tunnel ends!

Congrats harapatta(Mantra), which date it got approved and which Service Center You are going for stamping?
I did not get Approval Notice so far and AVM not updated. Let\'s see.

Kiran, approved yesterday 09/05. AVM updated today morning.
I checked AVM yesterday night(10pm), was not changed.
I think notice will tell where to go for pp stamping.

Where do u live. If its in NJ then you may need to go for Newark for Stamping. I may need to go for Newark
Most probably you may get your approval notice by this Sat/Mon.Then next wednesday you may need to go for stamping.

Did you say that when you checked the AVM y\'day it was not updated but today morning it is updated. What time did you check this morning.

approved. Call IIO.

i checked AVM in morning around 7:40am..It was not updated
till yesterday 10:00pm. I don\'t know how it was updated today
morning so early!

immiuser, you talk with IIO earliest, I am sure you are approved too.
Our dates are same and we were expecting that out files are with same
officer.

Today morning I checked AVM, still it is old message. Since I spoke to IIO on 09/04/01, I will call them after two weeks.

if u are married, ask you wife to call. Its okay that wife calls
as her is seperate application and not a problem even if you
called recently.
