I filed my I-485 with my wife as derivative applicant and my receipt date is 07/03 with NSC. The case got transferred to local office and had interview at 10/27. The case was pending in the name check for the past four months and got cleared in February (received mail from FBI upon a mail query). My wife received a welcome notice I-797 (Case type 1181 - Creation of Record of lawful permanent residence) on 04/01/05 and I haven't received any!! When I enquired customer service, they mentioned that my case was also approved on 03/21/05 and wanted me to wait. Both of us didn't receive any approval notice for I485 yet!! Since it is local office transfer, the online status is also not changing with old message of case transferred to local office.
Do you think I will have to wait for my notice or can I schedule an PP stamping appointment for my wife alone? The welcome notice of my wife didn't mention about passport stamping, but it mentioned that she would receive the card within three weeks. Whether visiting local office for stamping or enquiry trigger my approval/welcome notice too??

When I contacted customer service, they told that my case was apporved on 03/21 and I should be hearing any time soon. I am still waiting with a hope that my journey is almost over...
