Hi Dear All:
  Just checked AVM, our I-485 are approved for both me and my husband.
Here is our info:
 
PD: 10/1999
RD: 02/13/2001
ND: 03/12/2001
FP: done on 08/30/2001 ( recieved 08/15, scheduled on 10/15)
Approved: 11/05/2001
 No RFE, called INS twice, one for check FP, one for address change.

 Do FP ahead of schedule definitely helps!

Would you please let us know at what stage you changed address?
Did it go smoothly? Did you receive all the INS mail after your address change?

Congrats -- I have a few questions

Congrats on your I-485 approval.I sent a change of address just now.
1)How must time did you give before you called to confirm the change
2) Is there a particular form you used to change the address.
3)Is there any number I can call.

please share the info you have on these.

What documents did you file?

Did you file the following documents along with your I-485 application?
1) Employment letter with salary mentioned.
2) Pay-stubs
3) W-2s

We changed our address after we received FP notice.
Then our lawer send fax and also mail to update addres.
After that (3-weeks later) I called INS and was told the new address
has been updated in the system.
I\'ll wait and see where they mail the approve notice.

RE: 1) we called 3 weeks after lawer send fax and mail.
(2) I don\'t know really what form the lawer uses.
(3) call 949-831-8427 to double check the address
