Hi I have an approved I 140 from Employer A ( not withdrawn ) with a priority date of dec 2017. I moved to employer B who extended my h1b past 6 years and is in the process to file my PERM.
Employer A got sold to a new parent company and has offered me a role ( in a new location than my previous role ) which would be a promotion to my previous role at employer A ( and current role at Employer B. Moving from employer A to B was a lateral move )
Now if I go back to employer A ( which is now technically new Employer since the company was sold to Employer C ), Does my old I 140 continue or do they have to refile the PERM and I 140 since now they are technically Employer C ?
