Approvals to pick up after this weekend?

I remember reading somewhere that BCIS officers have been reassigned for preventing any threats during the July 4th celebrations.
Does that mean that after this weekend they will be free to adjudicate AOS applications and we might see Dec 01 approvals pick up again?

Yes.. Also, in order to help the BCIS out, the USPS and the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have reassigned their employees too. That's why no mail is delivered on the 4th and the liqour stores are closed.

They will go from "Stopped Processing" to "Slow Processing" state (which is what we have been experiencing before July 4).
