Has anyone got approval without second FP. My ND is sep 21st 2002..any chances it will be approved without FP notice

If your FP1 has expired then I don't think that you can expect approval before FP2.

My first FP was done on Nov '2002. How do i know if its expired or not?

Online status not updated - notice was generated 08/24, same time as EAD3 was approved. It could be just coincidence but I think that EAD processing caused them to look and find that FP had expired.
Still nothing for my wife - just hoping it's a postal delay of a couple of days.
Fp2 date is 09/07.
