Does the FP expire 15 months after the finger printing is done or 15 months after it is cleared by FBI?

I would think 15 months after cleared by FBI. The date it says USCIS received the FP from FBI.

Then my fingerprint expires in about 20 days unless I get very lucky and get approved before that
