Hi All,
As posted earlier I got my 485 approval alongwith that of my family on 4th Nov'04.
As I have upcoming travel outside the country over the thanks giving weekend, I immediately made an appointment via INFOPASS for myself and my family.
I have a few questions though and would appreciate if anyone of you can help giving an insight into my Q- thnks in advance -
Q - For Stamping when I selected the I797/passport stamping option, I got only 2 days as possible options for appointment - One was "Monday" and the other was "THU".
My question is - Can we do PASSPORT Stamping on any day Mon-Fri thru Infopass? Or Stamping at NEWARK NJ can only be done on a particular day? ( I heard that stamping can only be done on FRI)
Q - When my Son's case was approved, his approval message said that - this case has been approved and CARD has been ordered for him ( he is < 14 yrs). SO does it mean that I now cannot take a 551 stamp for him? Anyone in similar situation who can share their experience? Also once card has been ordered, how many days/weeks/months before it arrives?
Q - Although I have scheduled my appointment via Infopass, I am yet to receive my approval notices Courtsey Or the Original( which goes to lawyer). Question is after approval, in how many days do you get the approval notice via mail?
