Hi,

What do I need for the passport stamping??
- What documents?
- Is it easy to make appointments or just stand in line? I'll be getting it done at the Monterey Rd office in San Jose.
- Any other experience / advice will be helpful.

Thanks,
Raj.

Passport Stamping

I did last week at San Francisco . Passport Stamping there was thru regular line.

They asked for
1. 2 Adit Style photos , write names and A# with pencil on back of the photos.
2. I-94 . ( We only had last one. )
3. APs
4. EAD cards.

They asked for Signature and Finger print for myself and my wife.

Whole process was real easy.

Is a valid AP needed for passport stamping?

APs and EADs.

My AP has expired.. and EAD is valid until may 25th.

My wife's AP and EAD are both valid.

Will I have any issues with not having applie for or having an AP? (This would have been my third AP).

Thanks,
Raj.

Adit Processing For Employment Based Cases

Cases approved by the Service Center, the client needs to go to the San Jose INS office to be processed for the Adit stamp and creation of the Alien Registration Card. With the appointment letter form the Service Center, the individual need not stand in the “regular” line, but should go directly to the Security Guard and will be allowed to enter the facility. Children under ten years of age need not be present.

but it still asks for appointment letter.

Hi,

I'm a little more confused now. The letter actually states that '...with the appointment letter from the service center....'

So I will need to take an appointment with them anyways right?

Thanks,
Raj.

I did my stamping on tuesday and the officer didn't ask anything about my EAD or AP. When i told him about these documents, he asked me to keep with me as a souvenirs.
