Approval of old cases that are current now

RFE Recveived by INS April 01

My case became current in May but I havent heard anything from the INS yet. Any idea when I will get my approval? Is there a mechanism to remind INS that such cases exist on their shelves...

Is their anyone else with dates around the same time

My priority date is 11/96 .. and I\'ve been waiting .. but the INS seems to be processing applications backwards .. hopefully you will hear from them soon enough ..
